A letter to Macy’s executives

Macy’s gave their top executives $1.39 million in performance bonuses today. These bonuses were a final payout of owed bonus money from 2004 but still, this is some terrible shit. At least wait a few weeks to make the payout so that you seem less heartless. Or maybe just waive that final payment althogether and keep a few hundred people on the job.

Actually, hold on, maybe I just don’t know how big business works. That must be it. Because, to me, it just looks like a bunch of dudes are getting paid for the good work they did in 2004 without any regard for the absolutely shitty work they are doing today. I think the whole thing stinks. Like shit in the sun.
