Not Dillards' first brush with crime

News broke yesterday that someone started their OJ Simpson white Bronco anniversary party a bit belatedly and drove their Ford through the Dillards at NorthPark Mall in Dallas.

Supposedly, they were trying to steal the ATMs that sit, most likely unused, inside the department store. Others have supposed that the driver simply had a craving for Calamari Fritte that just could not be denied.

Either way and long story short the OJ wannabe was scared off by the mall staff and fled from the scene. Well, in his defense, mall staff can be pretty damn scary. Anyway, nobody was injured, but the perp is still on the loose.

Not to worry, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant remain unharmed. And I’m sure M&S have plenty of Calamari on the menu…
