In This Economy?

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, and if you haven’t then you really haven’t been paying much attention, but we, as in ITE, are going to the South by Southwest Interactive Festival down in Austin March 12-16th. We’re kind of obsessed with it, honestly. And we’ve got a ton of cool shit planned for it, including giveaways, video logs, and lots more. But up first inside our bag of SXSW-obsessed tricks is…. a BUNNY!

No, it’s not a bunny. Jeez. It’s a party!

In fact, it’s the Official Unofficial SXSW Sendoff Pre-party Presented by Team CJ!

The Details:

Tuesday, 3/9 at 7:00 pm. Location: CoHabitat Dallas.

There will be free beer and a DJ spinning on his spin machine.

Now as an avid ITE reader, I’m certain you probably most likely maybe fall into one of the following three categories:

1) I’m already going to SXSW and I totally need to rest up. I also know all about you ITE folks and I don’t even like you very much.

Hmmm. Well nobody’s going to force you to attend our bunny I mean party. But if you want to meet and greet some other folks who are also going to be headed down to Austin for the nerd fest, this is your opportunity to do so! Meet some of these peeps in person before you meet them down in A-town.

2) I obviously heart ITE but I’m not even going to SXSW! Sad!

If you love us you’ll come meet us. Also, this is an opportunity for folks who are not going down to Austin for the craziness to get a little taste of what it would be like. Full of crazy social media “experts”, bloggers, regular folks, as well as people who like free stuff and partying. You can ask us about our core conversation (which is in fact the actual reason we’re going to SXSW), or not. You can certainly just come out and enjoy the FREE.

3) I don’t know what the hell SXSW is, and I don’t care!

That’s cool guy. Unless you don’t like parties you’ll probably still want to come to this one. The aforementioned free shit and peeps to talk to should still be fun for you even without any knowledge of SXSW. For many of us in Team CJ, this is our first SXSW anyways. We’re SXSW virgins just like you.

Perhaps I’ve forgotten those of you who don’t live close enough to attend this Dallas area partay. That’s cool. We’ll post some pics from the night and it’ll feel like you were right there with us.

Creed fans: this festive party is not an invitation to come find and attempt to hurt drocolate. He will have protection during the event.
