Ballsy woman in South Dakota shoplifts 418 items in one trip

Go big or go home. Whether it’s a backyard football game or your math homework or some shoplifting at the store — do it all to the extreme or don’t bother doing it at all.
That must be the way Becky Altena lives her life, because she was recently arrested for allegedly stealing 418 different items from the Lewis Drug Store in Sioux City, South Dakota. According to the reports she would fill bags with stolen goods and take them out to her car, and then go back in and do it again. There was no word on just how many trips she made, but wow. Ballsy.
She stole everything from books to jewelry to my heart (just look at those sexy glasses… I likey).
My biggest question is where was the security at Lewis Drug? Was anyone in the store that day? Was it a blind employee exchange program day or something? How is it that this woman was coming in and out of the store with bags of stolen goods and no one noticed this? Were there no ex-Winco employees on staff that day?
Something is fishy here…

No matter how she did it, it did not end well for Ms. Altena. She was arrested and charged with felony grand theft. Ouch. And that, my friends, is why you should always end your marathon shoplifting sessions at around 400 items.
