The Holidays suck, we know this. If for nothing else, the fact that you are obligated to buy shit-loads of gifts for family, friends and “loved” ones. Black Friday is here to help, and so is In-This-Economy.com.

Next Friday swarms of cheap-ass people, like us, will be busting down the doors of retailers across America to save some cash on lots of stuff that we don’t even really need, but can’t pass up because it’s so damned cheap. (Hell yes, $4 appliances) We here at ITE have compiled a list of 10 websites to help you survive Black Friday 2009. Here we go.

1. Gizmodo’s ‘Black Friday Deals: The Only List You Need’

gizmodo

Gizmodo has really outdone themselves with this one – this is the Black Friday 2009 master list. They’ve arranged this list by category so that you can compare prices on similar items you might be trying to catch a deal on – very helpful and very plentiful. Make sure to check back all week, as they will be updating the list right up to Black Friday.

2. Black Friday Ads – The Official Black Friday 2009 Website

This website hosts a shitload of up-to-the-minute Black Friday related content including lists of hot deals and scans of printed advertisements. They even have a ‘Guides’ section with articles that will help you shop for particular products, such as the ‘Laptop Buying Guide for Black Friday 2009’.

3. FatWallet.com

fatwallet_com

Fatwallet.com is a staple website for cheap-ass bargain hunters, like us. They maintain this status year-round, but the site especially shines around Black Friday season. Their Black Friday section includes a frequently updated Rumors blog where you can get cutting-edge information on the hottest BF deals. They’ve also feature a list of ‘Popular Stores’ where you can round up hot deals from your favorite retailers.

Oh, and they also have a FREE iPhone App.

4. FREE iPhone Apps on Black Friday

Much like Fatwallet, Dealnews.com is also a bargain hunting website that is worthy of checking out year-round. And they also have a very awesome section dedicated to Black Friday with News, Ads, Coupons and more. And they’ve also got an iPhone App. Yay!

6. BlackFriday.info

Blackfriday.info claims to be the ‘official site for all of the 2009 Black Friday ads’. Staying true to the claim, that is about all you will find on this site – ads. Lots and lots of ads. Sorted by store logos, they keep it simple and easy to find deals from your favorite spots. Good job, BlackFriday.info!

7. TGIBlackFriday

Tgiblackfriday.com has been around for a few years now and seems to be getting better with age. What sets this site apart is their robust ‘Shopping List’ feature where you can click on individual BF deals (all entered by hand! Whoa!) from a shit-ton of retailers and add them to your personal shopping list.

Guess what, they also have an iPhone App.

8. Slickdeals.net

Slickdeals_net

Slickdeals.net is another very trusty deals-site that should be on every cheapo’s radar year-round. This site features some neat tools like ‘Price Search’ and ‘Review Forums’. The Black Friday section features primarily user-contributed content has a forum-like feel to it. You can sort by retailer and category to find your dream deals.

9. BlackFriday.fm

BlackFriday.fm is known for their large following on Twitter where they broadcast up-to-the-minute deals and Black Friday store ads. Definitely follow them if you are a bargain hunting Twitter head. The same info they tweet can also be found at their website, which boasts a ton of useful (and pretty standard) features like News, Ads, Deals and a personal shopping list.

They’ve even put a short video together that explains what Black Friday is, how it works and how their site works. Check it out here.

10. Mashable’s HOW TO: Use Social Media to Find Black Friday Deals

mashable

Last, but not least, the Social Media people over at Mashable have put together a nice post on how to use Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Blogs like this) to find and stay up to date with the hottest Black Friday deals. One example is to follow the #blackfriday hashtag on Twitter for real-time chatter on the subject. A lot of your favorite retailers probably have a Twitter account, Facebook Fan Page or both. And they will probably be posting Black Friday deals to each. Go find them now! The post also features a pretty grainy Black Friday Shopping Tips’ video. Go check it out.

So there you have it. Get prepared and go get some cheap shit next week. Be sure to post in the comments if we missed anything and let us know what you’ll be “doorbustin’” to buy. But be safe out there in the wild. You could die.
