FREE STUFF ALERT: Wear Orange For A FREE Whataburger On Tuesday
Posted by breadwinner on November 6th, 2009
Whataburger says they like to make their foodstuffs “Just Like You Like It,” and this time they really got it right, because here at ITE – and I don’t know if you know this — but we like it FREE. So good lookin’ out, Whataburger.
Looks like all you’ve got to do is show up this Tuesday evening between 5:00 and 8:00 PM, and dine in at your local Whataburger establishment dressed somewhat in an orange hue. I’m a Texas fan so it shouldn’t be a problem. But if you’re struggling to come up with something to wear, here are some ideas:
Fake & Bake
In addition to sounding like a food-related item itself, the sunless approach to tanning often leaves one with a slightly-to-very-strong orange coloration. This approach takes dedication and honestly costs way too much to make the choice cost-effective, but it’s certainly memorable.
Halloween Costume Recycling
I’m looking at you, ex-Sexy Gourds, Sexy Fanta Orange Girls, Sexy Tigers, Sexy Orange M&Ms, Sexy Tennessee Players — you get the idea. Plus, recycling is free, helps the environment, and makes you look like an idiot in this case which is always entertaining.
Fruits & Veggies
Oranges, tangerines, tangelos, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, yams, mangoes and the like are usually available at most local grocery store chains and farmers’ markets. Show up and show ‘em your mangoes: It’s hilarious and cheap. Plus, you can counter-act the effects of eating a greasy burger with some healthy fruits and/or veggies later. Hello, fourth meal! (Sorry, wrong fast food chain.) Anyway, this approach could really help you get started early on next year’s Halloween costume. Ole!
Okay folks I’m out of ideas. You guys got any?
Enjoy your free burger!
