WASTE OF MONEY: 75-Cent Creed Concert Tickets

Today I’m going to rant pointlessly about:
75-Cent Creed Concert Tickets
I have a little bit of a history with Creed.
Way back in April I wrote about my feeling for them and it created a bit of a stir on the Interwebz. Creed fans from all across the world started chiming in and telling me to do things like “get a life” and “fuck my own face” (Check it out HERE if you have some time).
So of course, from there, I had to throw something right back. So I wrote THIS. And did THIS.
And as far as I was concerned, I was done.
That was until I learned that tomorrow night’s Creed concert in Birmingham, Alabama has tickets on sale for the price of FREE (the 75 cents comes in after Ticketmaster turns you around and bangs you in their customary way). Check it out:
After learning this news I spent some time trying to determine what the best angle would be in reporting this story.
Leave it alone? Hell no.
Talk about how Creed has fallen so far that they’re having to offer free tickets to their shows? Nah. Too easy. And obvious.
Maybe do a FREE STUFF ALERT post about Creed tickets? Nah… They’re not technically free and even if they were, not all free stuff is awesome. If someone were offering free herpes, would you really want that? Yeah, I don’t think so, and Creed is basically the herpes of the music world so you get my point.
Or perhaps the angle is that paying 75 measly cents for Creed tickets is still a giant waste of money? Yes, I like that. And here’s why:
REASONS WHY EVEN ULTRA-DISCOUNTED CREED TICKETS ARE A WASTE OF MONEY:
1. Creed sucks and no dollar amount is worth the effort it takes to go to one of their shows.
2. The concert is tomorrow night, and I’m sure there is a lot of excellent free entertainment on TV that needs to be viewed. Let me look, here. Ah yes! The new Discovery show, Lobstermen: Jeopardy at Sea starts tomorrow and that is not to be missed. I’m assuming it’s a show about some mutant lobsters that hang out with Alex Trebek and try to stump one another with trivia. Like I said: Not to be missed.
3. 75 cents could be better spent on other things, like a vending machine snack or some tolls on the tollway or seven and a half loaves of bread back in 1940. Or better yet, invest that shit! 75 cents can be 80 cents before you know it!
4. Since this discount concert is taking place in Birmingham, I decided to look up some other, better things to do in that area. There’s going to be an event called “Boo at the Zoo”, which I assume consists of some ghosts and animals and what not. The one downside is that it’s $7, but it’ll probably be ten times better than the Creed show so that math works out. Oh, and tomorrow night is also the first night of the Alabama School of Fine Arts’ Senior Visual Arts Show, and that shit is free.
And yes Creed fans, you read that right. I would rather go to a school art show than a Creed concert. It’s really not even a difficult decision for me.

A TV show about trivia-loving, mutant lobsters and a zoo-based Halloween event that costs ten times as much are better investments than the pathetically discounted Creed concert in Birmingham, Alabama tomorrow night.
Oh, and fuck you, Creed.

The Lobstermen show is a lot like watching “The Deadliest Catch” heavily sedated.
Other than that, I agree: Creed DOES suck.
But Creed has given us so many good songs. Creed is short for Creedence Clearwater Revival, right?

obviously, whoever wrote this, is so ripped his dick and his balls are broken into a million peieces after shagging over creed. and since he never got a chance to even go to a creed concert, this guy is god damn frustrated that he has started writing this bull shit about them. well this clearly is an atempt to get creed’s attention. ashole if ur so lame then just burn urself or drink some acid or lie down on the train tracks rather than ratteling ur fuckedup thoughts over the web about a legendary band.
