It’s official! Some people got some jobs (or just gave up)!

Happy Friday everyone! We have .1% fewer people looking for jobs right now! Our unemployment rate is DOWN!!!!

In other words, 247,000 people lost their jobs in July and that was better than expected! Whew!

Just thought you’d like to know.

According to CNN Money, the aforementioned decline in joblessness could be due to “discouraged job seekers who have stopped looking for work, people who now consider themselves retired or those have gone back to school rather than applying for jobs.” Shit.

But WHATEVER because we’re slappin’ this bitch economy around! Hooray America!!!!

I’m so excited, I’ve come up with a list of 5 ways to celebrate our country’s good fortune:

  1. Punch a Frenchman.
  2. Drink an entire case of Budweiser.
  3. Quit your job and retire. Please.
  4. Buy a brand new American SUV.
  5. Watch G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
