Distractions: SINGING BABIES

Posted by drocolate on August 3rd, 2009

The economy sucks. We all know this.

And even I have to admit that sometimes bitching about it gets a little old.

So with that in mind, I started this new feature here at ITE. It’s called “Distractions” and it’s designed to help take your mind off of our current economic shitstorm — if only for a few minutes.

DISTRACTION #12: SINGING BABIES

I have to once again defer to the geniuses over at Everything is Terrible.

Behold amazingness:

I’m not quite sure what to say about this one.Let me try and find the words…

The clip is divided into two parts.

The first part is a totally rad music video for the grossly under-appreciated song, “Ten Little Indians”. For those of you who aren’t already fans, “Ten Little Indians” is a song with a simple lyrical composition (they say the same thing over and over and fucking over again), but thanks to the truly game-changing special effects used in this video, every iteration of the repeated title lyric is new and fresh and totally effing amazing and rad. And awesome. When the giant floating baby heads with the adult mouths start singing around iteration 4 you almost forget that you’re listening to a potentially offensive and completely dated song about little Indian boys. It’s crazy!

The second part is, well, I REALLY don’t know what to say. Ghost babies.

Yeah that’s it.

Enjoy. Or don’t.
