Distractions: Fancy Fast Food
Posted by drocolate on July 3rd, 2009The economy sucks. We all know this.
And even I have to admit that sometimes bitching about it gets a little old.
So with that in mind, I started this new feature here at ITE. It’s called “Distractions” and it’s designed to help take your mind off of our current economic shitstorm — if only for a few minutes.
DISTRACTION #10: Fancy Fast Food

It’s been a great week for amazing, ITE-related websites. First there was There, I Fixed It and now we’ve got Fancy Fast Food. Fancy Fast Food is an awesome site that creates gourmet-level entrees using only fast food items for ingredients. It’s insane. And unbelievable. And really, really cool.
Here’s a couple examples, but please note that these don’t really give justice to the incredible amount of detail the FFF crew puts in. Visit their site HERE or by clicking either of the images below.
This first one is a quiche made completely out of Burger King breakfast items. Yes, I’m serious. Check out the finished product:
Wow.
This next one turns a few items from the Taco Bell menu (and some parsely for garnish) into a delicious tortellini dish. This shit is mind blowing. Have a look at the finished product:
That’s Taco Bell! WTF?!?!
Let me say again that I’m not even coming close to doing this site justice right here. In the explanations of these recipes they have photos showing each step. It’s really impressive. Wow.
Thanks to J for bringing this to my attention.
