Billy Mays Tribute Week, Day 4: Big City Slider Station
Posted by drocolate on July 2nd, 2009
Love him or hate him, there is no question that Billy Mays had an impact on the economy.
So, to honor him, we’ll be rolling out one of his infomercials (with a wee bit of commentary of course) every day this week.
Day 4: Big City Slider Station
YAY! BIG CITY SLIDER STATION IS MY FAVORITE USELESS KITCHEN TOOL!
I think this is the most worthless product Billy Mays ever endorsed, and I think he knew it. If you watch him throughout this infomercial he just seems like he’s really reaching to find benefits for the BCSS. And since when does everyone want little hamburgers? Was there a slider craze at some point in the last ten years? Did I miss it? Am I not cool?
Seriously though, who cares about tiny burgers. If I could reproduce the grossness of White Castle at home, well, why would I ever want to do that? This one is a fail, but I can’t blame Billy. He was just trying to make a buck.
The JaboOody dub for this one is REALLY amazing though. Check it out HERE.
