First came Cinnabon. Then KFC, followed by Baskin Robbins. Damn, companies sure are letting freedom ring this week! I don’t know if it’s the economy or just a bandwagon thing, but to be honest I don’t really care. I love free shit.

In celebration of their 31st year of scooping up wacky-named, delicious frozen treats to folks young and old, those infamous cow huggers Ben & Jerry are offering a free scoop of “your favorite flavor” from noon to 8:00 pm on April 21st. Oh yeah — I’m all over that like Human Growth Hormones on all those other ice cream brands.

Thirty-one is an interesting anniversary to celebrate, boys. Are y’all calling out competitor Baskin Robbins? Because the way I see it, their free stuff ain’t totally free, making BJ a whopping 31 cents better — per scoop — than BR. What’s up now??
