Stupid woman calls 911 because of lack of shrimp in fried rice

Hot on the heels of last month’s “stupid woman calls 911 because McDonald’s is out of McNuggets” story comes this little beauty.
A woman in Haltom City, Texas called 911 yesterday because she didn’t feel like she got the extra shrimp that she had paid for in her fried rice. In the 911 call (which you can listen to HERE) she can be heard saying:
“I always get the shrimp fried rice, so I said I’m going to get extra meat this time. But he didn’t even put extra shrimp in there.”
Yeah. Extra meat! Yum!
Seriously though, how stupid do you have to be to think that this is something you call 911 about? And the worst part is that while this woman was blathering on about how she wanted extra meat, someone was probably trying to call in with an actual emergency. Somewhere some house is just burning down but no one is on the way because the person who would have received the call was too busy sorting out shrimp woman’s extra meat problems. It’s just so ridiculous.
Actually, that’s not the worst part. The worst part is that this woman will not be penalized in any way for doing this. A police spokesman said this on the subject:
“You have to make a phone call in a non-emergency situation and remain silent or be abusive or obscene to the 911 call taker. She was none of those things.”
I guess an obscene level of ignorance doesn’t count.
whatta shame somebody could have been in a real emergency while she complaining about a damn shrimp? She should’ve been arrested. She must’ve been a fat person.
