Veteran’s candy bailout package — DENIED

veterans candy bailout package

A man in Florida was arrested Monday for stealing some assorted items from a truck stop. The weird part about the story is that the man felt he was justified in taking the items simply because he had served in the military.

The 31-year old vet somehow managed to stuff several packages of candy and nuts, two black T-shirts and a 20 oz. bottle of beer into his pockets (must have been wearing some sweet JNCOs). After being confronted in the parking lot by a police officer the man explained the details of his veteran’s candy bailout package. He even punctuated his case by yelling that he had served in the military in Iraq and could steal all the M&M’s he wanted.

Unfortunately the police officer didn’t see the vet’s side and arrested him.
