First read THIS.

Ok, now you’re caught up. This morning we received an official response to the Quiznos post you just read. The response came from someone at Zeta Interactive, a marketing agency that presumably works with Quiznos (though I didn’t see anything about Quiznos on their website).

It said the following…

Actually, no. That’s so lame. Let’s make this a little more fun. In the official response below I am going to replace the words “sandwich” and “sub” with “handjob”. If the fine folks over at Zeta want people to read this thing, this will get them to read it. Trust me. Oh, and I’m not going to mess with their URLs cause that’d just be dickish.

Ok, let’s do this:

Good Afternoon, I read In This Economy’s post on Thursday regarding the Quiznos free HANDJOB coupons (LINK). I’m working with Quiznos, and I’d like to share their response to those who are having difficulty redeeming their coupon: The response to the Quiznos Millions HANDJOBS Giveaway has been nothing short of overwhelming. That’s great, right? Right… but given that we have had over a million consumers respond in only three days, there are a handful of people who have reported some problem redeeming their free HANDJOB. If you’re one of them, please let us know right away by emailing millionsubs@quiznos.com.We’re working hard to address every issue very quickly. And, if you weren’t quite fast enough the first time around, there’s still a chance to win a free-HANDJOBS-for-a-year gift card through our Hometown Heroes promotion throughout the month of March. Check out www.millionsubs.com for details.

I feel like that was a much better read that way. If you’ve had a problem with Quiznos and this free sandwich debacle I would encourage you to email them and demand sandwich justice.

It’s a good thing I didn’t mess with the URLs, though. www.millionhandjobs.com probably isn’t real pretty.

  2. I get the feeling there’d be a whole lot more redeemed coupons and satisfied customers if they went with your coupon instead.
